Monteverde inks are consistently good no matter which pens they are in. This shades from light warm yellow to a deeper tone, truly like mango, with a medium nib.

Monteverde Permanent blue is a gorgeous powdery blue. I am not sure what makes it permanent, but I like the color a lot. It is not completely waterproof and does smear some if soaked. The words remain legible. This is probably better classified as highly water resistant. It cleans out easily. Another good Monteverde ink.

This ink is particularly dark in a good way out of a stubb nib. I believe it is a wetter flowing ink based upon the two pens I have inked up with it, although that could be a partial function of the nibs used.
