This is the first ink that I ever got for fountain pens I like the shape the weight and design and the fact that no matter how I feel the converters this handles it really well and the color is gorgeous

I find that this ink is a bit harder to flow than others I've used. I can't say that I'm disappointed, but I don't think I will purchase again after I finish this bottle.

Back in 1972, I purchased an Montblanc Meisterstuck in Nurnberg, "West" Germany while stationed there and assigned to a heavy artillery unit supporting NATO. Fountain pens reigned until the ballpoint...sadly showed up. Over the years I've used both Pelican and Lamy ink. I prefer the Lamy; the color saturation seems more uniform and consistent. The bottle with the blotting paper strip is a great innovation. I'll be sticking with Lamy in the future.

This ink is great for daily use at work. It's dry enough that it dries pretty quickly and works well. No complaints! The blotter paper in the base is nice for wiping the nib after filling the pen.
