this is such a brillant yellow, it would be hard to see if you just wrote with it. I bought it to mix with other inks. just to throught it off a bit. I have tried it with Lamy Red and it works great.

A nice dark pink, almost red. The color is pretty consistent when you write, some other J. Herbin inks have noticable light and dark parts to your letters, not the case with this color.
