I'm probably biased because I love purple, and as a newbie, I don't have anything to compare this ink to but I love the color and how the ink writes. It is smooth and fast drying. No complaints. I will be buying more from this brand. Ranked 4, not because of anything wrong, but because i know that I do not know much about bottled ink generally.

I have tried a number of grey inks and did not want to go with anything that could potentially leave a residue in my pens. This is a rich, dark grey and flows well. Drying time is not fast but good enough for me as a right handed person. I bought the 30ml to see if I liked it and will now buy the full size. Pen Chalet did a great job with shipping - it was fast and well packed.

I'm not an ink expert, so take this for what it's worth. This ink stinks. I mean literally; it has an odor to it. I thought it smelled musty, but then my son nailed it exactly. He said it smells like a funeral home--the combination of mustiness and flowers. Anyway, if you can overlook that, I like the color. I find it to bleed through more than some other inks depending on paper.
