The Clairefontaine 1951 Collections is a staplebound notebook with 48 sheets(96 pages) of lined paper. This notepad has been reintroduced by Clairefontaine with a modern twist on the iconic French notebook.
The paper in the 1951 notebook is 90g pH neutral and acid free with a smooth satin finish. The white paper is lined and the grained paper cover gives the Clairefontaine 1951 Collections notebook a vintage look and feel. The sheets are 5 3/4" x 8 1/4".

I ordered four of these to use for various notes. One turned into my gym log, and it is the perfect size. Even better, it's the perfect strength! As a body builder, it holds up to being folded back, shoved in a gym bag, dripped with water, preworkout and such, weights dropped on it, and everything else you can imagine. I keep another for writing notes at church, a third for writing exercises, and I don't recall the fourth one, but I can assure you, they get put to good use. Well worth the money!

I use these A5 sized Clairefontaine side-stapled notebooks for journaling. Not as many pages in them as other notebooks, but they take every kind of ink I have thrown at them (even Baystate Blue!). They're a treat to use, and the covers even look nice.

I have quite a few of these notebooks and use them for ink swabs and notes. Very good quality paper and excellent notebook for the price. I prefer a notebook for ink swabs than separate cards etc. The lines in this notebook make swabbing easy and the paper a good choice for ink.
