Bass Straight Robert Oster 1980s Sample(4ml) Fountain Pen Ink

I ordered Dusky Pink and I was really not a fan. The ink wrote incredibly dry and frequently had hard stops and starts. It wrote very inconsistently, sometimes it would be writing really well and the next second it would be incredibly scratchy and was writing very thin lines. Or it would be writing on the the darker side and then would be an incredibly pale pink. Overall, the writing experience with this ink was very frustrating. I wanted so badly to love this ink because I really enjoyed the color, but that just didn't happen. I have never had an RO ink that was this inconsistent and frustrating to work with. I used it in both a TWSBI ECO M and B and it had the same problems in both.

I have never seen another review mentioning these things, so I don't feel like my experience aligns with what most other people seem to have. I absolutely love the color of this ink, but I am not sure if I'd recommend it.

Robert Oster is one of my favorite inks. You will enjoy any color you choose. Have fun writing.
