About the Private Reserve 60ml Pearlescent
Private Reserve 60ml Pearlescent fountain pen ink comes in their basic cylindrical 60ml glass bottle and is available in a variety of brilliant ink colors. With the new Summer 2021 ink series release, Private Reserve fans can look forward to a new, unique ink trait Private Reserve is describing as pearlescent.
Once dry, the Private Reserve Pearlescent ink series inks exhibit a definitively pearlescent effect(a shimmering, translucent pearl-like finish. In addition to the beautiful pearlescent finish, these high quality inks are designed to offer smooth ink flow, and great shading traits.
NOTE: Always shake prior to using. Pearlescent inks may dry with a slight powdery film that may transfer at high saturation. Recommended for use with brush pens and dip pens. When using with fountain pens, thorough cleaning after use is advised.

These inks (got 3 pearlescent) have a very fine shimmer that floats to the surface as the ink dries. The “color” therefore comes off as a pastel. The flow and consistency of shimmer are great. There’s just a bit of smearing after drying as with most shimmers. Overall, very nice ink.
