Kyoto TAG Kyo-no-oto 40ml Reviews
beautiful ink, color matched what I saw on my screen and is a nice deep sea-green, that shades lighter, with a very fine silver shimmer throughout. Flows very well through the fine and extra fine nibs and feeds I've tried it in. I was nervous about getting a more expensive ink but I am very satisfied.

oh wow! I wouldn't have looked into/tried this brand had Pen Chalet not carried it! Thank you! Hisoku is simply lovely: shady and well behaved, not too light for aging eyes (e.g. Manyo Haha), and overall perfect for my zoom/stub nibs. Pleasingly stylish and functional packaging and bottle too.
I look forward to trying some other colors of this brand too! would highly recommend.

Very intriguing. Stone Road of Gion runs a little dry. Cherry Blossom of Keage is my favorite so far.

A beautiful unique blue that I've not seen in any other range of inks. The ink also shades incredibly well. The only issue is Kyo-no-oto inks are DRYYYY... That's why they shade so well. It skipped and railroaded in a few of my standard EF/F/M nibs and all my flex nibs. This was remedied with some White Lighting and now it's the bees knees.

A beautiful and complex ink. I never thought I'd go for yellow ink, but this one is really nice, more green than orange. The flow seems a touch on the dry side. A little pricey, but it stands out in my ink bottles for its lovliness.

These inks are subtle and understated - very Japanese! I use these inks when writing to those who know what’s what and appreciate quality.

I love these inks! They never feather, they dry fairly quickly, and they have a lovely look about them that feels very ‘vintage’. The colors are unique, too. Adzukiiro and Hisoku are two of my favorites - and I have hundreds of inks.

Tried this ink in two pens, one that has moderate flow (Sailor) and one that’s very wet (Pelikan). It was hard starting a lot in the Sailor, so I switched to the Pelikan and it’s a perfect match, balancing out the wetness of that pen well.
Black with a dark blue base that only really comes through when cleaning it out of the pen. There’s a subtle gold sheen that I bought the ink for that is awesome. Its one of those details that you can enjoy without it demanding the attention of others and being obnoxious or cartoonish. This is a classy, black ink that isn’t perfect but also isn’t boring. I will be buying this again when I run out.

Great performing inks with interesting colors that are pretty unique. I rank them right up there with Pilot Iroshizuku and Sailor Jentle as far as quality and performance. They do tend to be a little pricey, but in my opinion this ink is worth it.
