Each Wearingeul Preface Series fountain pen features a clean, minimal silhouette that lets the color and material take center stage. The body is crafted from cellulose acetate, giving each pen a unique resin pattern with soft depth, shimmer, and movement. The initial release includes two color options: The Glass Bead Game and A Dream Within a Dream. The Glass Bead Game features a muted blend of pink and green tones with subtle shimmer, inspired by the intellectual harmony and balance of Hermann Hesse’s literary masterpiece. A Dream Within a Dream pairs softly divided pink-violet and blue tones with a golden shimmer effect, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s haunting, dreamlike poem.
Built with a surgical-grade stainless steel nib plated to match the pen’s trim, the Wearingeul Literary Preface Series fountain pen is available in Fine and Medium nib sizes. The current version uses a smaller nib similar to a #5 nib, but slightly smaller. The pen uses a cartridge/converter filling system with a 2.4 mm type connection compatible with most cartridges and converters that use this standard. A converter is pre-installed inside the pen; cartridges are not included.
