About the Stipula Etruria Magnifica
The Etruria Magnifica fountain pen is a Stipula classic defined by the oval silhouette, and featuring the finely chiseled leaves indicative of a Stipula design. The stylized leaves are engraved in the oversized pen's clip, and center ring. While the Stipula Etruria Magnifica fountain pen is easily classified as an oversize pen; many would also consider it a light pen; created for an exceptional writing experience.
The Etruria Magnifica in Wild Honey (or Miele Selvatico) features a slightly translucent resin material in varying honey tones. The material's varying shades combine with unique coloration create a remarkable depth in the pen's resin material.
The Stipula Etruria Magnifica is a cartridge converter fountain pen trimmed in gold plated metal and fitted with a gold plated stainless steel nib.
Pens are packaged in a slim black gift box and include one ink converter and one standard international size ink cartridge.
*The Flex nib option offered here is what Stipula refers to as the V-Flex nib, a calligraphic nib with an increased cut and very high flexibility. The V-Flex nib is designed to start from a F/M with light pressure, to arrive at stub.

I love this pen! It is a little thicker and I like that. The resin is beautiful. The metal detailing is quality. The nib is smooth. I bought this for myself for Christmas and I am so glad I did. I buy Conklin pens for the price point. This Stipula is worth paying more. I do have a few pen more expensive than this one, but I prefer this.

Beautiful, comfortable pen with a pretty nice non gold flex nib. I wouldn’t mind owning a few more. The color is so much richer in real life

You have to have this pen in yiur hand to appreciate the beautiful job the artisans did with the acrylic resin. Haven't inked it yet, but I'm sure this nib is going to give a great writing experience. A special order, but arrived quickly.

This is, to my eyes, a very fat/thick pen. If that's your preference, then this should be a candidate. I generally prefer slimmer pens. Thickness aside, I love the gold leaf-patterned cap band and the chatoyant resin barrel and cap. One of the advantages of a thicker pen is that it shows off a patterned resin better, and this is no exception. All in all, it's a lovely pen.

I’m a sucker for the Stipulation Etruria Magnificas style, design, and size. Oversized pen. When it came out in this new finish Wild Honey I had to get one. Went with the stub nib and it is great. Writes wonderfully.
