Solid Gold Sheaffer Centennial Limited Edition Fountain Pens

As a centennial tribute to the company founder Walter A. Sheaffer, his son and successor Craig R. Sheaffer, and their first factory in Fort Madison, Iowa are all adorned with high relief engravings around the pen.

The nib is made from palladium plated 18K gold. The years 1913 and 2013 adorn the top of the cap signifying the year the company began and the centennial year. A chain of inlaid nibs are engraved on top of cap as well. The silver version is made out of sterling silver while the gold version is 18k gold plate trim.

The gold version of the Sheaffer Centennial Limited Edition fountain pen has a 2mm. diamond (Color: G, Clarity: VS) replacing the registered trademark on the silver edition.

To represent the date the the company was incorporated(May 16) there are 516 sterling silver pieces. There are only 45 pieces of the solid gold version worldwide, representing W.A. Sheaffer's age at time the company was incorporated.
