Pelikan re-engineered the popular Classic 200 fountain pen from a piston style pen to a cartridge pen. The Pelikan P200 Cartridge fountain pen uses the Pelikan Edelstein cartridge ink or the Pelikan 4001 ink cartridges. This pen is ideal for those that travel a lot or just prefer ink cartridges to bottled ink. Each Pelikan P200 Cartridge fountain pen has a glossy black resin barrel and cap with gold trim and gold plated nib.

Pelikan P200 Cartridge Video Script

This is the Pelikan P200 Cartridge Fountain Pen. It comes in a brown cardboard box with the Pelikan logo printed in brown on the top of the box. The box slides apart and included with the pen is a nice soft, white leather carrying pouch. It has the Pelikan logo embossed on that front clip, and you can see the stitching there on the edges on the pouch.

This is the Pelikan P200 Cartridge Fountain Pen. It comes with glossy black resin and gold accents throughout the pen. On the top of the cap, you'll see that Pelikan logo in gold, and it has a traditional Pelikan bill-style clip in gold, And at the bottom of the cap is a gold band with Germany on one side and Pelikan engraved on the other side of the pen. And then, it just has a plain black end to the barrel of the pen.

The cap on the pen is threaded and unscrews, and you can post the cap on the pen. It has a small gold band between the grip section and the rest of the barrel, and then you can see the gold colored stainless steel nib with the Pelikan logo engraved on it.

This is a cartridge style fountain pen. So to change the ink on the pen, you unscrew that grip section from the barrel and included with the pen is one Pelikan Edelstein ink cartridge. This is the standard universal ink cartridge. So you can use the Pelikan Edelstein ink. So you can use other standard international cartridges if you want to use different brands or more color selection.

Pelikan 200 Fountain Pens are traditionally a piston-style pen. This is a different pen, gives you the option of using cartridges, if you would like to. You can also buy a converter for the pen. The converter is not included with the pen, but if you wanted to buy one, you could always buy one and use it as well with the pen, if you want to use bottle inks.
