There is also, of course, the Opus 88 Omar Flora fountain pen. The Flora pen has a unique design, where it is shaped like a vase. You can see the cap of the pen actually has a taper as is the body of the pen, so it looks like a floral vase with all these beautiful floral colors. At the top of the cap, there is a little blue ring. The cap is threaded. It unscrews. It will also post on the pen, as well, which is kind of interesting with the design that they were able to accomplish that, as well. It comes with a German stainless steel nib and a black feed on the pen.
Since it is an eyedropper pen, the front section will unscrew from the body of the pen and there is an o-ring between the section and the body to keep it from leaking, and you will fill the pen with the eyedropper here. There is also a knob on the end of the barrel of the pen.
So, to fill the pen, you would unscrew the section and the piston inside will retract. It is the high-end eyedropper systems found on a more expensive pen, just a great eyedropper pen. You would then fill the body with ink, insert the section and screw that back together. Then you would compress the piston in the pen, and screw the knob down, locking it in place when you fill it with ink.

This is the Opus 88 Omar Flora fountain pen. The pen comes in a mauve colored sleeve with the "Opus 88" logo in gold. It slides off and there is a white box for the pen. Once again, the "Opus 88" logo. This box lid lifts open. Information about Opus 88 is included with the pen. I bought the pen because of his distinct it looked. I’m always on the look out for uncommon looking fountain pens. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it wrote! I purchased the Extra fine nib, and it’s perfect. I wrote with it for two classes for two hours straight and it performed so well. I have small hands however the size was comfortable. I love this pen.

Wow! The shape and color of this pen in photos looked a bit “Girly” to me so I had never purchased it but the unique design was so intriguing that I finally went ahead and ordered it as a curiousity. In person it comes off as bold and modern - kind of “Memphis” design. The “Fine” nib is so beautifully tuned it’s unbelievable. There’s no need to post this pen. Feels great and good balance. I thought I’d just sort of “have it” in my collection but I’ll be using it!

Took a chance on this color, thinking it might be too girly .However its a cool look. Its a confetti design with translucent areas. Works for me, posts and plays well with my other Opus 88's.

I love this pen! I wasn't sure how I would like the EF Nib but it is super smooth and has plenty of ink flow. The ink delivery system on the Opus 88 is genius! Even though this pen was an open box item it appeared new in every way.

I absolutely love this pen... But didn't realize it doesn't like lefties. I have to hold the pen at an uncomfortable angle to get the ink flowing properly. When it writes though, the lines are lovely.

Wow, this pen is even more stunning in reality than the picture. I have small hands so I tend to use it without posting the cap as it makes it quite heavy. It took a bit for me to get used to the eyedropper filling method. Be sure to pull the plunger all the way out to fill it. Otherwise, it won't create enough "pressure" to force the ink down into the nib. At least, in my experience. I do unscrew it a bit whenever I write. I filled it with the Monteverde Caribbean Blue which is also the same color as the blue "flecks" in the pen. Lovely.

Cute oversized pen with
style. The Nib is exceptionally good, far surpasses the, Ormar’s nib. I got an EF, it has been confirtable, slight bounce, and zero problems.
I enjoy the pens’s ability to “stand”
up on the desk on it’s own.
