Really did not like this pen. The grip is very slippery (and too big for my hand) and the nib (I ordered a medium) wrote as an xfine. Looks like a cheap pen. I returned it. Pen Chalet people are really easy to work with. They accepted the return and provided a postage paid return label .... I am always happy to shop Pet Chalet!

Nice basic fountain pen. Feels like spun aluminum covering a plastic body. Very light. The #5 nib is great; a smooth writer with very little feedback. It writes nicely, and the fine nib flows well but is not a wet writer. The cap posts well and given the overall weight of the pen, posting doesn't really affect the balance. It's just light. Comes with converter and full-size cartridge, not a half-size! The tolerances on the threads between the section and body are quite loose, but once it's screwed on snugly it isn't an issue. All in all a nice knock around pen. one that performs well and you don't have to worry about losing or getting dinged up.

sent promptly and well packed, arrived in perfect condition. The pen is gorgeous! more substantive than I expected actually. It fills easily and writes nicely--very smooth! thanks for everything :)

I'm not sure if mine is broken or if this pen is intentionally poorly designed. There's a plastic shim inside the barrel that locks the converter in place so the converter doesn't seal with the section. The pen leaks constantly from inside the barrel as a result.
This issue aside, the nib has lovely soft feedback and the clip is spring-loaded.
