Traditional style Montegrappa clip with a roller at the bottom. Nothing on the band of the pen, it's just a matte finish as opposed to more of the satin finish on the cap. It as the same satin finish on the bottom with the Montegrappa 1912 logo at the bottom. It is a threaded cap that unscrews and can be posted on the end of the barrel of the pen. It has some nice, I really liked the Montegrappa threads, a little bit bigger thread just aesthetically pleasing to me. And it has a silver-colored Montegrappa nib, it's a glossy nib with the matte little ring here at the bottom. It is a cartridge-converter pen, so the section will unscrew and included with the pen is a Montegrappa ink converter for bottled inks. This is Montegrappa Parola Slim Fountain Pen. It comes in the traditional Montegrappa box with the filigree pattern and the Montegrappa logo on the top of the box lid which lifts off. Inside the cardboard box is a harder shell box with the Montegrappa logo emblem on the top and once again, the same kind of pattern on the box. Hinge-style lid with a soft fabric interior, the Montegrappa logo on the underside of the box lid as well as the ribbon that holds the pen in place. And of course, we have the Montegrappa Parola Slim Fountain Pen. They call it a slim but it's not a super slim size, it's still pretty decent size pen. I happened to pick up this pen when Pen Chalet ran a special on it. It was well worth it. The pen is a nice writing pen. Some people may find the pen a little top heavy if they post the cap. It is classified as a "Slim", but I wouldn't say it's an overly slim pen. I've got some mixed feelings about the Stealth color. It seems like there is something missing. If you want a pen that feels nice in the hand and writes nicely, then go ahead and get this pen for your collection.

Oooooo......This is a good Pen to have for any time you might need one. Mine is a Broad Nib and I love to use it for my Doodles and for Writing Letters because it feels Cool in my hand....sounds Crazy, but it's True. The weight is a perfect balance for doodles or just writing (I don't Post - Blech!) and it doesn't get heavy after using it for a while.
