About the Maiora Impronte
The Maiora Impronte fountain pen catches the eye through a harmonious combination of color. Hand turned from solid resin with a combination of polished and matte finishes. The machined metal parts are made of brass and hand-finished with a matching color stainless steel nib.
The resins selected for the Impronte showcases a dark orange palate reminiscent of the color found throughout the Italian countryside, under the Mediterranean sun and reflected on the rocky hillsides.
The Maiora Impronte uses a threaded converter filling system that fills like a standard piston fountain pen with optional use of cartridges. The converter has been finished with plating to match the trim on the pen.
Each Maiora Impronte pen has been fitted with a #6 stainless steel nib and engraved with the Maiora logo.

The pen comes in a Plexiglas lid box with the same design and the Maiora logo has a foam base and a black Plexiglas bottom on the box. Both sides have these little elastic straps that hold the lid in place, and inside, of course, we have the Maiora Impronte Fountain Pen.
This is a resin pen. It has a black gloss section and matte finish on the black resin, both on the cap and the bottom knob on the pen. The pen has a beautiful resin which has black, gold, orange colors, and browns with a gold trim on the nib and the rings on the pen. There is a couple rings at the center of the pen and a ring at the bottom of the pen as well. The cap is threaded and it will unscrew. You can post the cap on the pen. It has a glossy section with kind of matte finish here in the middle with the glossy on the front part of the section with the stainless steel, gold colored nib that will match the rest of the pen and a black feed.
It is a cartridge converter pen so the front section will unscrew from the pen, and there is a specially designed Maiora converter. It has the Maiora logo on the converter, and it will also take a standard international cartridge, so if you want to remove the converter and use cartridges, you can do that as well.

Absolutely gorgeous. I had to ink it up right away. This pen fit my hand and grip perfectly. I could write with it for days it was so comfortable. The nib was smooth and perfectly tuned right out of the box.

I bought the smaller orange model of this pen. It is really beautiful. I was surprised at how pretty it is.
It feels nice in the hand. I got the fine. It's not as fine as a Japanese fine nib, but it's finer than medium and I like it. They took the time to finish this pen nicely, even the converter is cool looking. This is the most expensive pen I ever bought, it's cool to have a limited edition Italian pen. The only negative thing I can say about it is the box. It looked really cool on the video but it's actually just plastic and foam. Nothing I want to save.

Easy to hold and a delight to write with, the Impronte fits comfortably into my hand and rests easily on the crook between my thumb and index finger. The option of removing the heel to twist the knob of the piston filler convertor seems an extravagance, but at least it obviates removing the barrel to get to the convertor. I prefer the amber (almost a tiger eye color) to the black. The Fine nib suits me as well. Barrel diameter:14.5mm, grip diameter: 10mm, and the barrel itself is almost 135mm long.
