About the LOCLEN Electa
The LOOCLEn Electa fountain pen has a unique design. Crafted from various metals, the pen has a short cap that posts by threading on the end of the barrel. Although it is a converter filled pen, a knurled knob is used to turn the converter without disassembling the pen acting as a piston filler.
Each LOCLEN Electra fountain pen comes with a stainless steel German nib that is a push-in design using three o-rings. The creates a slight dampening when writing for a smoother writing experience. Also included is a matching removable clip.

And, of course, we have the LOCLEN Electa fountain pen. It is a unique design for this pen. It has a small short cap design and an ink viewing window on both sides of the pen so you can see the ink level inside. On the barrel of the pen is the LOCLEN logo, "LOCLEN Italy". It is an Italian brand. There knurled knob encased in the barrel that controls or actuates the piston of the pen to fill it with ink. It is not actually a piston pen, however. Now, that is what's a bit confusing with the pen. It is a cool design the way the pen works. We will explain in just a minute.
The cap is threaded and it unscrews and will post on the end of the barrel of the pen. With the short cap design, it doesn't really extend the pen much. It also has a short little section. It comes with a #5 stainless steel nib and a black feed.
It is actually a cartridge converter style pen although it could be classified as a piston because of the knob with a piston inside. But the section pulls out of the front of the pen. There are three small O-rings that are compression fit, but it actually has a standard international ink converter. So, this ink converter can be removed and replaced with an ink cartridge as well if you want to use cartridges with the pen. This knob is just a band that on the end of the converter that comes off. This band is what is inside the barrel to control or actuate the converter of the pen to fill it. So, cool little design. It's very unique. Great little pen from Italy. LOCLEN Electa Video Script
This is the LOCLEN Electa fountain pen. It comes in a fabric covered box with a hinge style lid that lifts open. The LOCLEN logo is on the underside of the box lid. Included with the pen is information about LOCLEN as well as the operating instructions for the pen. Also included is a small clip for the pen. It's optional whether to use the clip or not as it just slides on and off. It could potentially scratch the pen if you slide it on and off a lot, so probably pick whether you want to use it or not and keep it on the pen. And, of course, we have the LOCLEN Electa fountain pen.
