Combustion Leonardo Officina Italiana Exclusive Virtuosa Fountain Pens

The Leonardo Officina Italiana Exclusive Virtuosa fountain pens take Leonardo’s Virtuosa design into distinctly collectible territory. Created exclusively for Pen Chalet, this special collection pairs the elegant Italian-made Virtuosa with premium Jonathan Brooks resin barrels and carefully selected trim combinations available on the Virtuosa exclusively through Pen Chalet.

The first release of Pen Chalet Exclusive Virtuosa fountain pens introduced Arctic Blast, Primary Manipulation 3.5, Combustion, and Cosmic Shame. Collector response was strong, and most of the original release has now sold out, with only a limited number of Cosmic Shame pens remaining while supplies last.

Now, the exclusive collection expands with four new Brooks resin designs: Bengal Tiger, Primary Manipulation 1 Vesuvius, Teal, and Primary Manipulation 5 (PM5). Each of these Virtuosa resin and trim combinations was created exclusively for Pen Chalet, and Bengal Tiger brings an additional level of exclusivity to the collection: the Bengal Tiger resin itself was created by renowned resin artist Jonathan Brooks exclusively for Pen Chalet.

While the core Leonardo Virtuosa collection celebrates classic style and everyday versatility, these Pen Chalet exclusives offer something decidedly more distinctive. Premium Brooks resin brings exceptional color, depth, movement, and individual character to each barrel, while coordinating components and carefully selected finishes complete each exclusive design. Because of the nature of these artistic resins, the patterns and color placement make every pen visually unique.

The Leonardo Virtuosa is designed around soft lines, classic proportions, and comfortable everyday writing. Its name, “Virtuosa,” refers to a person of refined taste, culture, artistry, or intellect—a fitting name for a writing instrument that brings together traditional Italian penmaking and expressive contemporary materials.

Each Pen Chalet Exclusive Virtuosa fountain pen is fitted with Leonardo’s La Fenice #6 stainless steel nib and uses a cartridge/converter filling system. A branded screw-in converter is included and arrives installed in the pen, making it easy to get inked up and writing as soon as your pen arrives.
