About the LeBoeuf Edgar Allan Poe Limited Edition
The LeBoeuf Edgar Allan Poe Limited Edition fountain pen offers homage to a 19th century literary giant. The LeBoeuf Edgar Allan Poe Limited Edition fountain pen's special Midnight Blue/Purple Haze acrylic barrel (inspired by Poe's Dark Gothic literary themes) is engraved with Edgar Allan Poe’s unique signature in Gold fill, and a Gold medal embossed with his Portrait tops the pen cap. The Edgar Allan Poe Limited Edition fountain pen is fitted with a German Gold Plated nib and uses a cartridge/converter filling system. The LeBoeuf Edgar Allan Poe Limited Edition fountain pen is a stunning tribute to one America's most prolific authors, who set the standard for the Mystery and Horror genre for today's writers.
Edgar Allan Poe, born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 19, 1809, became a prolific writer of short stories, poetry, essays, and even a novel. Most of his writing was in the Gothic genre and his writing heavily influenced modern writers of horror fiction, as well as leaving a mark on the modern short story. Poe is credited with writing one of the first published detective fiction pieces, "The Murders in the Rue Morgue," and many short stories. "The Fall of the House of Usher," The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Pit and the Pendulum," and "The Cask of Amontillado," all became classic psychological thrillers. And a handful of his most famous poems, "The Raven," and "Annabel Lee" are now considered some of the finest Gothic Literature in history. Considering Poe's troubled life, and his early death at 40 years of age (to causes that are still unclear even after extensive biographical research on the part of modern-day historians and writers), his status both in the U.S. and Europe as one of the most influential writers of the nineteenth century is astounding.
Each LeBoeuf Edgar Allan Poe Limited Edition fountain pen is packaged in a special Commemorative Navy Blue Box featuring Edgar Allan Poe’s Signature. Pens are limited to 100 pieces.

LeBoeuf Edgar Allan Poe Limited Edition Reviews
Best fine nib I've ever had. I had another La Boeuf fine nib pen but it disappeared in a restaurant the first time I was using it. Vanished into thin air while I was sitting at a table with my sister. It wasn't on the floor either. The restaurant checked all the nearby tables to no avail.
So back to this fine nib; all others I've had required writing over and over about 3 times before I could really see what I had written. This one really is fine but best very legible.
