About the Laban Taroko

The Laban Taroko fountain pens pull inspiration from the magnificent landscape of Taroko National Park in Laban's motherland, Taiwan, an amazing South East Asian island. The region contains astonishing natural phenomena: caves, gorges, forests, and more. Each breathtaking landscape tells a story about life and nature, inspiring us to write.

The Taroko's classic cigarette-shaped silhouette (lighter and thinner than the Laban Mento fountain pens) is showcased with lightweight, colorful acrylic resins. The Laban Taroko fountain pens use a cartridge converter filling system, and the pen's grip is made of acrylic resin (assembled with a metal coupler). The pens are paired with durable gold-plated trim and fitted with a German-made rhodium and stainless steel nib (with bi-color plating) engraved with the Laban logo.

Fans of the Laban Mento will appreciate the similar cigarette shape of the Laban Taroko fountain pen. In comparison, the Taroko is smaller in size.
