About the Kaweco Perkeo
The Kaweco Perkeo fountain pen was originally designed as a dip pen around 1900. Today it has been redesigned as a fountain pen. The design stems from the classic Kaweco tradition.
Created with colorful matte finishes, the pen has an octagonal cap and sixteen-edged barrel. The cap is designed to snap on and off and the section has an ergonomic grip. The pen has then been fitted with a stainless steel nib and comes with a short standard international ink cartridge.

Kaweco Perkeo Video Script
This is the Kaweco Perkeo fountain pen. It comes in a plastic sleeve and there is not a case for the pen. The pen has a plastic cap and barrel. The top of the cap has the Kaweco logo in chrome color and a hexagonal shaped cap. The Kaweco logo is engraved on one of the sides. The shape reminds me of the Kaweco classic but it's a little bit shorter, it's not quite as long as that particular pen. The Kaweco Perkeo has a longer barrel and the barrel has faceted sides all the way along the length, with the chrome colored ring in the center of it.The cap is a snap-off cap and it can be posted on the pen. Descent-sized pen with that cap posted. You can use the pen without it posted as well. So it's not like the Kaweco classic, it's a little bit longer. And has an ergonomic grip section and a stainless steel nib with the Kaweco logo engraved on it and the black feed on the backside of the nib.
It is a cartridge converter pen. You can replace the cartridges by unscrewing the section from the barrel of the pen. There's an empty cartridge there with a full cartridge as well for the pen. You could also add a converter for the pen if you want to and it takes a standard international ink cartridge. A standard international converter would work as well. Great little pen, inexpensive, great starter pen. Get your Kaweco Perkeo fountain pen at PenChalet.com!

A great pen for cheap. It writes great and I like the styling of it. Seems sturdy too.

The perkeo pens are very good writers, generally, and are a great starter pen! The quality is very good. Perhaps my only gripe is the lack of a clip, but they are available separately. Highly Recommend these pens!

These make great starter pens. I’ve given several to friends, and this one went to a young child in southeast Arizona.

Got this in the solid green. Was curious about the Perkeo and I've not been disappointed in it. While not the most attractive pen I own, it is well designed, solidly constructed, and feels durable. It is also comfortable to write with, lays down a smooth line, and I'm not afraid to chuck it in my bag next to my keys or hand it to someone else to try... all the reasons why I kinda love "kids" fountain pens :)

Love the look of the green pen, it seems to be working well. I'm not crazy about the fine nib. I wanted another fine nib but this one is a bit scratchy for me hopefully with use it'll wear in. I guess I should stay with medium or broad.

Happy with this pen. Tossed it into the cart because I haven't tried Kaweco before (and because I'm a bottom-feeder :).

I've tried so hard to like this pen, but after using it for more than a month I think I'm ready to throw in the towel. I bought a Perkeo Retro Block with a medium nib because I own three of the Kaweco Classic Sport pens and love them; I thought the Perkeo might be a fun change of pace. But everything about it leaves me cold: the plastic feels cheap and lightweight; the medium nib bleeds too much ink, regardless of the paper I use; and the Kaweco clip I bought for it doesn't really fit the octagonal cap. My preferred lower-priced fountain pen is the Pilot Kakuno, which I feel is better-constructed, more durable, and features a much smoother nib. To each his own!

I have a bunch of Perkeo pens. I bought them as my first fountain pens. They remain favorites and its nice to have a solid color Perkeo. Lightweight, portable and fun to use.

Good pen for a beginner especially if you do not want a pocket pen (Sport) which you have to post to use. Lack of clip makes it susceptible to rolling.
