About Light Purple Kaweco Lunar Sport Collection
The Kaweco Lunar Sport fountain pens series is now available in multiple magical shades with an iridescent finish that shifts beautifully in the light. The light colors shimmer brightly like soft moonlight, while Shadow colors are reminiscent of the early hours of the night; tones shine alternately as the pen moves, creating exciting color contrasts and giving each pen a luminous, dynamic look.
The Kaweco classic sport fountain pen is compact and easy to carry in a purse or pocket. The length of the pen is small with the cap on but with the cap posted it extends the pen making the pen easy to use.
Introduced as part of the 2026 Kaweco Spring Novelty release.
The Nib
A special highlight of this series is the removeable threaded nib unit (060). Compared to other Kaweco plastic fountain pens, the nib of the Lunar Sport fountain pen can be easily replaced later with a different nib size or even a different nib material, offering added flexibility for writers who like to customize their writing experience.
As part of Kaweco's standard range, the writing instruments will be shipped with Kaweco's black paper box.
Optional Accessories Sold Separately:
Silicone Grease: Helpful for those who wish to convert their Kaweco Sport fountain pen to an eyedropper pen.
Kaweco Mini Ink Converters: For those who prefer to use bottled fountain pen ink, but don't want to convert their pen to an eyedropper pen.
Pen Clip: Some prefer to add one of the optional pen clips designed specifically for the Kaweco pocket pens.
Shop Compatible Ink Cartridges: Kaweco Cartridges(6pk)
*Note: Kaweco pocket pens will also accept SHORT Standard International ink cartridges, but will not accept the full size Standard International size ink cartridge.
Add a Compatible Ink Converter: Kaweco Mini Fountain Pen Converter
*Note: Kaweco pocket pens can be used with bottled ink, but they require the Kaweco Mini Converter. The Kaweco Standard Fountain Pen Converter does not fit inside the pocket sized pens.
And as part of the Kaweco 2026 Spring Novelty Release, you'll find this particular Kaweco more collectible than many.

This Lunar Spirt Kaweco is a quirky color, but I kept coming back to it. I finally bought one because, when that happens, it generally means I'll regret it in the future once it's no longer available. It goes without saying that the pen writes well and is convenient.
