Nice fountain pen for the price. It consistently has a monoline (no thick and thin ink strokes)flow of ink. It's your basic writing pen, not for calligraphic lettering.

This pen writes like a dream. I have bought cheaper pens and they only work half the time. This one was opened, put ink in and began writing. I is a great value. Love the medium nib.

What a great pen for a little price! The nib is fantastically smooth right out of the box. The metal body has a little "cheapness" about it, but if someone didn't know, they'd mistake it for a more expensive pen. The Galaxy finish is what I would call "faux raden", giving the impression of the beautiful Japanese abalone shell inlay. I'm certainly happy with the pen and, as always, Pen Chalet's great service.
