I got the red pen and it's a lighter red color. Red, sure, but not lipstick scarlet or anything. The design is pretty unoriginal: a rip off of the Lamy Safari, but it's way cheaper than a Safari, but not nearly the quality either. It's a metal pen, aluminum, and the cap neither caps nor posts very well---it gets hung up on an inner sleeve. It writes pretty well, however, and it's very comfortable in my hand.

Don't like the nib and the yellow on the outside is a different shade than the inside. Nothing special at all.
