All About the Scribe Nib:
Esterbrook's new Scribe nib is created in New York by a nibmaker by the name of Josh Lax. The Scribe fountain pen nib is similar to an architect nib; ground into a wedge for broad cross-strokes paired with narrow downstrokes.
Note: Specialty nibs such as the Journaling or Scribe are custom grinds and take longer on special orders for delivery.
Esterbrook has also introduced the Needle Point nib which is sold in both the Key Lime and the Purple Passion colors. The Needle Point Nib is sized at about 0.41 inches.

Very pretty and functional pen. I got the Purple Passion version. I ordered it with the Needlepoint nib. It seems more like a fine nib than a needlepoint, but it's fine. Still using it. And purple is always a plus.

This is definitely the smallest pen I own, but that has not detracted from using it comfortably, even for a guy with larger than average hands. My boys have also commented on the attractiveness of this model. Most importantly, though, it writes well.
