The Esterbrook Cosmic Wine Limited Edition Sparkle Estie fountain pen is the 4th release in the Sparkle Collection (limited to Oversize fountain pens). Like the first three Esterbrook Sparkle fountain pen releases, the Limited Edition Cosmic Wine fountain pen is made with DiamondCast material. The deep purple-burgundy* body sparkles against the gold trim for a luxurious feel in a popular everyday carry.

Created in collaboration with Florence-based calligrapher, Betty Soldi, who created the theme for the pen, designed the bespoke box used to package these stunning fountain pens (one of Esterbrook's most decorative pen boxes to date), and designed the set of 3 wine charms turned page holders or bookmarks included with the purchase of each pen.

Esterbrook created the Sparkle Estie line as a glitzy makeover of their popular Estie. Each pen in the collection so far features a different custom resin made by Tim McKenzie of McKenzie Penworks. The much-loved sparkling resins are made by adding reclaimed diamond particles to the resin, and polishing it to a high gloss. The process allows the material to glisten and shimmer when the light hits the surface.

The Esterbrook Cosmic Wine Sparkle Estie fountain pen is fitted with a German JoWo stainless steel nib and uses a standard international cartridge converter filling system.

Each Esterbrook Cosmic Wine Sparkle Limited Edition Estie fountain pen is packaged in the bespoke box created exclusively for this release by Florence calligrapher and artist, Betty Soldi. Each pen includes one ink cartridge and an Esterbrook branded standard international size converter for use with your favorite bottled fountain pen inks. Each pen also includes the set of 3 wine charms designed by Betty Soldi for this limited edition release.

*This gorgeous limited edition release often appears as if the base resin color is black in photos and even video, but in person the pen's resin base is a deep deep purple-burgundy (not black).
