About the Delta Horsepower
Inspired by the high performance racing cars, the Delta Horsepower fountain pen is made from solid resin that is polished to a glossy finish. The cap is shaped after the body style of formula 1 racing cars and the pen offers perfect balance when writing.
Each pen has a black carbon fiber band, a lightweight material used in racing cars. The clip and bands are coated with rhodium for added strength and durability. "Horsepower" is recessed into the band around the cap.
The Delta Horsepower fountain pen is a cartridge/converter style pen and comes with both an ink converter and an ink cartridge. The pen accepts standard international ink cartridges. The Delta Horsepower fountain pen comes standard with a stainless steel nib with an option to upgrade to a fusion gold nib.

This is the red version of the pen. It comes in a hand-turned resin, that's polished to a nice, shiny, mirror-like finish. And it has chrome rhodium accents throughout the pen. The top of the cap is just a simple resin cap with a thin chrome band that runs around the top of the cap and attaches that chrome clip. On the backside of the cap we have "Delta Italy" and the number of the pen. Then we have a nice, thick, chrome band with "Horsepower" engraved into that band.
And then on the barrel, we have a nice, thick, carbon fiber section or band on the barrel. And at the base of the barrel is just a thin, chrome band with just a resin cap at the bottom of the barrel. The cap on the pen unscrews. It's a threaded cap. It can be posted. This pen is quite large. It's a pretty good size barrel.
It has a resident grip section with a stainless steel nib. You can upgrade this pen to the Delta Fusion gold nib if you would like to. On that nib, there's some engravings with the Delta logo and the size of the nib.
This is a cartridge-converter style pen. To change the ink on the pen, you simply unscrew that nib section, or grip section, from the barrel, and that comes off. And inside, included with this pen, is one ink cartridge. There's no converter included with the pen. If you would like to add a converter you can easily do that, and purchase your own converter, but it does not come with the pen.
This is a sharp-looking pen. I really like the high glossy look to it. And that carbon fiber section there in the middle makes it really pop and really stand out.

1. It's a small pen so unless you have small hands you'll need to post it.
2. It posts deep and secure and is well balanced.
3. It's light and attractive looking.
4. The section is nice and wide and is not slippery.
5. The nib is large, it looks bigger than the delta fusion nibs, I selected the broad nib and it's smooth and I look forward to writing with it.
6. The cap is unique and adds all the style to the pen so it's very important to post it for aesthetics and for function since the pen itself is just too small to write with and can be big distraction.
7. It writes like a true broad so if you like broad nibs you will enjoy this pen.
