The Conklin Stylograph™ Mosaic is the latest addition to the classic Stylograph™ collection. The popular pen design is based on the original, timeless Conklin models from the 1930s but modernized with bright colors and unique finishes. The Conklin Stylograph Mosaic fountain pen combines Mosaic art with outstanding writing performance passed through generations of Conklin writing instruments.
Mosaic is an extraordinary art form rich in historical heritage that creates images using small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials, pieced together to create the whole. The earliest examples of art created using mosaic consisted of pieces of colored stones, shells, and ivory; mosaic art dates back to the second half of the 3rd millennium BCE, with ancient mosaics discovered at a temple building in Ubaid, Mesopotamia.
The Conklin Stylograph Mosaic fountain pen is made of very rare and beautiful acrylic resins that give the satisfaction of holding a work of art in your hands. Delicately combined mosaic fragments bring unique colors and patterns to the Stylograph. Each element and color is carefully paired together to create a seamless symphony of colors that evoke the art deco art movement through the mosaic. The collection is available in three vibrant color combinations: Blue and Yellow with Rose Gold accents, Orange and Black with Gunmetal accents, and Green and Brown with chrome accents.
The pen features Conklin’s elegant clip, perfectly balanced and designed to fit easily on thin or thick pocket materials. Each pen is hand-made, and therefore, no two pens are exactly alike.
The fountain pen fills via cartridge or converter (included) and is equipped with a premium JoWo stainless steel #6 nib personalized with the Conklin name, the historic “Toledo, USA” mark, and a crescent-shaped breathing hole. The nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub, or Omniflex. Each Conklin pen features a lifetime warranty and is sold in a luxurious gift box.
