Each blank is individually poured, swirled, and cured by hand in his North Carolina studio using vibrant red, white, and blue tones inspired by the American flag. No two pens are exactly alike, making each one a unique expression of shared heritage and personal style.

The Conklin USA 250th Anniversary fountain pen features Conklin's classic cigar-shaped silhouette for a balanced, comfortable writing experience. The fountain pen is available in two limited edition versions. The chrome trim pen features a JoWo stainless steel limited edition USA 250 nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub, or Omniflex. The yellow gold trim version is available with an optional 14kt gold nib in Fine, Medium, and Omniflex. Each nib features Conklin's signature crescent-shaped breather hole, and every nib and plasma-treated feeder are meticulously tested to ensure exceptional ink flow, writing precision, and a smooth, responsive feel.

Each Conklin 1898 USA 250th Anniversary Collection fountain pen uses either standard international fountain pen ink cartridges or the included threaded ink converter for bottled fountain pen ink.
