The 1948 concept design for the Bullet Space pen became Fisher's 1st ball point pen, the #400 Bullet Pen. It is arguably the most popular pen of the twentieth century.

Today's Rainbow Titanium Nitride version of this classic pen design is composed of all brass with a titanium nitride finish.
