We recommend not taking this pen on a commercial flight as TSA may think it is a real bullet. The brass on the bullet shell is not finished and will color over time making each pen unique.

This is the Fisher Space Pen Cartridge Pen. It comes in a cardboard box, looks kind of like the box a bullet would come in. This particular cartridge is the 375 caliber cartridge, it comes in either the brass cartridge or it also comes with the nickel cartridge. I'll show you both, this is just showing you the packaging, each one is a little bit different. You can kind of see the nickel plated one there.

The pen itself comes in a nice carrying case. It's a plastic case, it has the Fisher Space Logo in silver on the top. It has a little button here to open the case. The pen itself sits in a velvet recessed area, it keeps the pen from moving around and getting damaged or scratched, great to carry the pen with.

This is the brass version of the Ball Point pen, and it also comes with a nickel plated version of the pen. These are actual cartridges, it's an actual bullet casing a 338 bullet, I'm sorry a 375 bullet. It also has the option to get a 338 cartridge. It comes in different sizes, This brass cartridge will discolor over time and change a little bit, make it unique to you because of the inks or the oils in your hands. It has the bullet tip that pulls out, and then you flip that around, you can put it back in to use the pen for writing.

The nice thing about this pen is, it comes with a Fisher Space Pen Ball Point refill, and this is a pressurized ink refill. Which is really great because it gives the pen the ability to write upside down or if you're in weather, and it's wet. It writes through water, it writes through grease, and it's going to last much longer than a normal fountain pen.
