The pen is inside. It has this nice blue, kind of a marble, swirling resin. And it's going to give you kind of a pearled pattern. It's gonna give you a different look on each of the pens, just because it's how that resin is. And at the tip of the pen is a red resin tip with the very end of the pen being a chrome tip. Between that red resin and that blue is a thin chrome band. And then on the barrel of the pen we have Delta Italy, Hippocratica Collection, and the Delta logo.
At the bottom of the cap is a nice, thick, chrome-colored band. It's actually Sterling Silver, with the Hippocratica logo, and another chrome band just above that thick chrome band. The clip on the pen has a snake wrapped around that clip. It's a unique look to it. And the top of the cap is a medallion with, looks like a couple birds and a shield.
This is a twist-action ballpoint pen. So to extend the refill on the pen, you simply twist the cap and that refill extends. If you twist it the opposite direction, that refill retracts. And then if you continue to twist that cap in a counterclockwise direction the cap will come off, and you can pull out the refill to replace it. Delta Hippocratica Collection Video Script
This is the Delta Hippocratica Ballpoint Pen. It comes in a nice large black cardboard box. In the top of the box we have the Delta with the Hippocratica logo on it. Included with the pen is an additional ballpoint refill. And the pen itself is encased inside a Plexiglass lid. Now this lid is held on by a couple of bolts that have the Delta logo on the top of them. You simply unscrew those and you lift the lid off. I bought the Hippocratica ballpoint as a gift for my wife and it is simply a beautiful writing instrument, a joy to hold and look at. What was not visible in the picture was the slight translucence of the resin, which adds a feel of "depth" to the pen body. I want to mention also that the customer service of the folks at Pen Chalet is excellent, it is a joy to interact with them, as a result I plan on doing business with them again in the future. A great experience overall!
