Benu Briolette Video Script
This is the BENU Briolette fountain pen. It comes in a white cardboard box that has the BENU logo in the gold, and the box lid will lift off. There is a sleeve for the pen with the BENU logo on it, and of course, we have the BENU Briolette fountain pen. It has a unique resin with the ends that are glow-in-the-dark. The pen comes in different colors. This happens to be the luminous blue color. It also has these mineral-looking deposits throughout the barrel and cap of the pen. They sparkle and glisten with different colors as the light hits the pen.It has a black resin in the section and the center of the pen. Also at the center of the pen, there is a band with the BENU logo on opposite sides, two different logos. The cap is threaded and it unscrews and it will not post on the end of the pen. It has a black resin section that matches the rest of the pen with a stainless steel nib and a black feed.
It is a cartridge converter style fountain pen, so the front section unscrews, and there will be an ink converter included with the pen. The pen will take a standard international cartridge, so if you would like to use cartridges, that is an option as well. Just an interesting pen. It's Russian-made. At first I thought these were too gaudy, looked like toys, but when the company left Russia after the recent invasion, I started buying their pens. Great looking, light weight, big fat nibs that write dependably, attractive designs and innovative materials. Each one hand made, for this price? Bingo!

She's a beauty! (we decided this pen should have been called "Elsa"). Like any self-respecting Benu, this one is positivily bold, in a good way. The glitter, the colors, the facets, and the glow -- what about this says ordinary? Nothing!! Love that glow-in-the-dark feature, btw.
I inked her up with a matching ink, right down to the tourquise blue and silver shimmer (Blizzard), and oh, it's perfect! After a bit of a slow start, it writes as smooth as melting butter. Love this pen to the max.

I bought a fine, and while it is rather wide for a fine, I find that I prefer the medium. It is pretty, and writes nicely, but I think I need a dark ink to appreciate it.

I purchased the Luminous Snowy Peaks Briolette and the photos on the website don't do it justice, this pen is gorgeous with deep rich teal blue colors, I could stare at it all day! And I did not realize that it also glows, extra points to Benu !!!

This was a gift, and while it's not the usual "look" of fountain pen that I go for, I have to say that it is really gorgeous. The purples in the Jolanda have such depth and range that it looks great with both red-leaning or blue-leaning purple inks (if you like to match ink to pen). I was worried about the width and the step-down to the grip, but I needn't have. There is absolutely no issue there as I don't even notice it during use, and it’s very comfortable to write with. I got the Broad nib to try (my first) and it is very very broad indeed (and a super-gusher). I have since purchased a replacement nib (a Fine) and now love the pen even more. One last note: so far, I’ve inked up this pen with Colorverse Hyabusa Glistening, Diamine Violet and Diamine Bilberry. They all have looked great with it. Price, ship time, and customer service from Pen Chalet was, as usual, exemplary.

I've enjoyed my briolette a lot. I got the B nib. It's on the soft side, which I enjoy and quite wet! I've used Robert Oster ink with it. The colours are vibrant and so pleasant to the eye! The overall experience is great. If it was my first pen, I would have probably given it 5 stars. It's 4 since I do compare it to other pens that I have and probably unfairly, since they are in a different category.

I absolutely love this pen so far. I haven't used it much but it's been lovely on my desk with the stand it came with glowing in the dark even from just sitting under a desk lamp for a couple hours. While it is beautiful, I found it to be a bit small for my hand since it's unable to be posted, so I may not use it for very long writing or drawing periods. It's light and not too cumbersome to handle.

So pretty, the pinkish, purple, burgundy color is unusual with the signature touch of glitter. There is something about BENU pens that make you happy and smile when you are writing with them. Its compact enough to slip in your purse for quick notes. The nibs never fail. I'm embarrassed at the number of BENU pens I own, but they are irresistible!
