These are Schmidt brand Nibs and perform exceptionally well with this adapter/converter for ACME brand Pens that accept them. The only issue is the top part of the converter that you twist, gets caught up in the spring located in the underside of the pen body and twists ink out of the Nib. The spring needs to come out - gently if you can - or you will need to use a cartridge instead of the converter.

I love ACME pens and have several of them. The weight and balance is very nice and the designs are interesting. I love all things Leonardo so this was an easy choice for me. The graphics are beautiful and I love the engraved signature on the cap (done in mirror-writing of course).

I have owned this unique pen before. I still have it. A quality pen!! I now own 3 Frank Lloyd Wright pens. The etched is a heavy pen that rolls. Great find. Never thought I would find it again.
