About the Rhodia Brand
Rhodia was founded in 1932 by two brothers, Henri and Robert Verilhac. The Rhodia company was initially known as Papeteries Verilhac Freres but was later changed to Rhodia when they moved near Grenoble in the French Alps next to the Rhone River. Rhodia was then purchased in 1997 by Clairefontaine. The Rhodia logo was created in 1932 with two fir trees representing the two founding brothers.The Rhodia notebooks and pads are loved by the people that use them. The notebooks come in the popular french orange or black covers made from card stock that is coated making them both flexible and waterproof. The notepads feature a hard stiff back cover making them portable and easy to write on. The pages are made from acid free paper that is ink friendly.

Like every thing Rhodia that I’ve purchased thus far, these little notepads are exceptional. Very fountain pen friendly, no bleed through, minimal ghosting with the wettest of inks & the paper used really showcases quality inks.

I absolutely love Rhodia Notebooks because their paper quality is incredible. When I first started practicing brush lettering and and typography, I used these notepads because their grids really gave me a good amount of structure and guidance as I practiced. I used to reach for the black notebooks since orange was too bright for me. When I found out that they were releasing colors that were not just black and orange, I was super excited. I got the Plum, even though the colors you get will be RANDOM. I was so happy with the Plum. It was a rich and warm color that I am excited to carry arround.

Purchased by mistake, I didn't want the "Classic Meeting" notebook, but it's paper is still my favorite, and I use it for other than what I initially wanted it for. Works great, and excellent paper IMO. I don't need that particular type of formatting the pages.

This notepad is a little bigger, but I love all of the dot grid options. I especially appreciate the design of the flap cover, which has scoring so that it can easily be flipped back without causing weird creasing. The pages are perforated and easy to remove.

Perfect size for quick meetings and notes. I wish that it came in a dot grid format, though. I like how there are perforations at the top for clean tearing. As with other Rhodia products, it's great with fountain pen ink!

I am really happy with these notebooks. Rhodia paper always works well for me with fountain pens and is great for taking quick notes or long-form thoughts. A nice smooth surface for many types of pens and pencils. Being lefthanded I also chose these due to the top spiral.

As always, superb paper. Ink lays down nicely and my nibs do not scratch against the paper nor do they bleed even with the wetter inks or feather. Will buy again when needed.

Use these all the time at work. Keep it in a shirt pocket (in a Rhodia leather holder). Great for jotting down notes.

I am a real fan of Rhodia paper, and this notebook is very well designed with pages that are easy to tear off but will not tear off accidently. It is a great notebook to have laying around for quick notes especially if you like taking notes with a fountain pen. I highly recommend this.
