Retro 51 Smithsonian Tornado Rollerball Pens Reviews
I love these pens. Red is my favorite color--and the brass-trimmed red Vega is a pleasure to write with.

I ordered the Shuttle Discovery as a gift for my dad. He likes the design of the pen. He was a little disappointed with the rollerball refill that came with the pen. I swapped out the rollerball refill for a Parker pen refill and dad was a happy camper. Besides life is too short to use a boring pen; I think that is another great feature of Retro 51 pens, they will accept and with other company's refills.

Beautiful design for pen and space lovers. I have it displayed with the other Retro 51 rocket pens and looks fantastic on my desk.

'Just purchased yet another "Retro '51" Rollerball, to add to the 4 we have already. This one commemorates Amelia Earhart, the Kansas-born aviator, who became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic, and later completed the first nonstop solo flight by a woman across the U.S., in 1932.
The eye-catching design of this particular Rollerball reflects the bright red colour of Earhart's Lockheed 5B Vega, which has been on display at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, Washington DC, since the 1960s.
'Lovely pen, recalling some brilliant aviation achievements - a portion of the sale price goes to support the wonderful Smithsonian museums.
