Smooth smooth smooth nib! It won't matter if you get the broad or the fine,it's so smooth!
The cap is biggest you will ever see on any pen. The cap posts deeply and you have to screw it on so only 1/4 of the pen is exposed,but it's still fun to write with! It makes it look like a high end over size pen.
If you don't post it,it's still big enough to write with without being awkward and it's very nice to write it unposted as well. Very comfortable in the hand,very light and it just glides all the way to the other side of the paper. The only bad thing about posting the pen is that it is so huge looking that it will distract you,but it's such a cool freaking distraction.
the parchment swirl is the most hypnotizing colour I have ever seen,it looks like coffee and cream beign swirled around and then frozen before it can completely mix together
I really enjoy this pen and now i'm buying any Taccia fountain pen I can find on the internet...Plus i'll be buying the black and blue versions of this pen in the future
