Stipula Passaporto Superleggera Fountain Pens Reviews
I love the concept of this small eyedropper pen. I have the demonstrator model. It's my first one so I was a bit nervous about putting the ink IN the pen, but I got over it. I found it helpful to review the video on Pen Chalet a couple of times. While it is small, the cap screws on and adds length and stability. My only complaint is I wished I had gotten a different nib. I thought the Italic nib would be fun but I don't have the skill as yet to use it correctly.

This is my first Stupla pen. I have not inked it yet but I will soon.

Purchased a Drone (clear) with a fine nib. As others have mentioned, the pen is entirely plastic including the metal looking parts. The pen is very light.
I coated the threads in the barrel with silicone grease to prevent leakage, although that may not have been needed. There is a rubber o-ring at the end of the section that seems to seal pretty well in the barrel. I filled the pen and so far no leaks. Tip: Don't fill too much. The section screws pretty far down and can overflow your pen.
The small nib writes well, not scratchy and no skips or hard starts. It's a decent European fine.
I really do not like how the cap threads onto the barrel. It feels rough, almost cross threaded. Threading on the back of the barrel to post the pen is excellent.
There are several inexpensive pocket pens out there, and the Superleggera is a middle of the road example of one.

This is a nice little pen which fits conveniently in a small place and writes very smoothly. When the cap is posted it fits neatly in my large hand. It is not fancy but is priced very reasonably. One complaint - when it arrived new it was very difficult to separate the tip from the barrel. I think it had been screwed on with an air wrench.

Very disappointed in this pen - it doesn't seal properly - leaks all over the place - from the body, the nib... The nib itself is not very smooth. I was surprised that a company with a high reputation like Stipula produced such a bad pen.

From all my pocket pens, this is my favourite demonstrator. The nib writes great right out if the box. Lovely small tin with 2 inks uniquely inside cute vial samples. No issues at all! Fast, secure, well packed delivery even during pandemic from Pen Chalet

I was disappointed with this fountain pen. It leaks consistently. With the eyedropper fill it has the ability to hold a larger capacity of ink. However, it is not a pen I would trust in my briefcase, pocket, or just siting on my desk upright in a pen holder.

You need the grease for the threads or it will leak. This is a very small pen that can't really be written with without posting. The medium nib is forgiving of hand position and is consistent. It is a dropper pen so the body is entirely plastic. The clear body looks like it has metal bits, but that is not metal. I'm glad that I got this on sale because I would not have been satisfied with it at full price. It feels cheap. The star rating is as though I paid full price.
