Not sure this one is a keeper. The pen writes really well ... great nib (I purchased the italic), great feel in the hand, really compact when capped. Problem is that it occasionally "burps" ink ... I'll uncap it and about to write and "drip" ... a blob of ink drops on my paper. Fortunately this has not happened on anything other than paper, but it makes me not want to carry it or really depend on it in any way.

great pen!.. i have an older stipula and this one is much tighter with all the threads.(less opportunity to leak) very happy with my pen! Absolutely great pocket pen for those no shirt pocket or casual jeans days.

I read several reviews, most of which were not good, about this pen,. But because of the great price, with coupon, at Pen Chalet I decided to try it. I flushed the pen and cleaned the tines prior to inking it. It is an ink dropper so I filled the barrel with ink. I was really surprised at how nice it looks and writes. The cap screws onto the back of the barrel to make using it comfortable. It holds s lot of ink. I did use the brown paper method to make the nib smoother. The nib is a true medium. It does not skip and there have been no hard starts.. I like this pen.

As this is my first Stipula pen, I am slightly disappointed - the nib feels cheap and scratchy, and often loads too much ink, i.e. suddenly forms a big blob of ink... the pen is very compact, and needs to be posted to feel right in the hand - that part of the design is good - I like the screw thread for posting

I got this pen because it was a ink dropper as a demonstrator. Plus if it worked out as a pocket pen that would have been really cool as well. The tech that supposedly prevents ink burps does a bit better than the other ink dropper pens I own. However, don't fill to the line, leave a bit of air space in the ink reservoir. The pen is short even posted. Not great for long writing sessions but for a quick note or two works good.

The pen is lovely. I ordered a 1.1 italic. I got a fine nib. Little disappointed. It was a present for someone overseas that already left. Cannot be returned.

I got the Pen on sale, glad I did if I paid full price would not be happy with quality, The Pen is kinda fun as it really is unique and I really like the stealth look. The pen functions as expected right out of the box no adjustments necessary.

If you're into pens that are somewhat "unusual", then you need a Superleggera.

It's an eyedropper fill, which is a first for me. Filled it with ink from one of the vials included, and sm very happy with the way it writes.

Buy one.

Nice little pen.

Have not used it yet. When it arrived, I eagerly tried to use it - but found that it was so very tightly put together that I could not open it without considerable and careful work with a cloth wrapped around it to force it open. Got it open and realized that it needs silicone grease to prevent that problem and assure a seal. Will not use the pen until I have bought the silicone grease and applied it. Although I must rate the pen (below), those ratings are meaningless until I use the pen.
