Great pen. I’ve been using it for pen an ink sketching.

Great quality pen at an affordable price.

For sketching, it is excellent! I have recommended it to all my students.

I use this pen all the time at my desk and I really love it. I'm using the ink that came with it and it flows good, dries quickly and doesn't dry out to fast.
This is not a travel pen and it can not be posted so don't loose the cap. The only dislike is since it is so smooth and sleek I can't index the pen without taking the cap off. I really with the Platinum branding stamp was directly behind the nib.

An artist friend of mine suggested that I try these pens for doing artwork. I got two with two different nib sizes. I love them although it turns out that I like the fine nib best. I did have some trouble getting the cartridge to work when I first tried. After not being able to get it to work, I put the converter into the other one and filled it with ink - it worked like a charm. After that I went back and finally got the cartridge to work.

I am most happy with the friendly, prompt service and the excellent prices. I found the Pen Chalet in an online search and am very glad I did as I like to support smaller businesses rather than buy from Amazon.

I bought a bunch of supplies so I probably won’t need to reorder for a while but I am happy to know where to go to order more pens and ink.

A great pen and great price paired with excellent "Carbon" ink. It writes a very fine line, finer than the typical fine nib European or American pen. One important note: You have to manually, and quite firmly, seat the cartridge in the pen before screwing it closed for the ink to flow properly.

Your platinum pens are superb, and when I lost one and tried to use your carbon ink in another fountain pen, it simply failed, so I've bought two, an d given away two more as gifts. Bravo!

Since it writes so effortlessly, this is an excellent pen to be the handy one on the desk.

Writes so smoothly. It takes a bit to get the ink flowing when first opening, follow directions and have patience and you are rewarded with one of the best writing experiences ever
