I received my Platinum 3776 Century recently. It's a beautiful pen. I am very pleased with my various purchases from the Pen Chalet and I look forward to purchasing more items from them. Service has been outstanding.

I just recently took possession of the 3776 Yamanaka. This pen is wonderful. The styling is elegant. The pen is well balanced and fits in the hand extremely well. There nib is smooth and is quite typical of the high level of quality that I have come to expect from Platinum in a nub and the pen overall. I have nothing but praise for this fountain pen. It is excellent.

This a beautiful pen. The Nice Pur is a lightweight pen with excellent ink flow. The "slip and seal" mechanism insures that the pen does not become dry when not in use.

This pen exceeded expectations and competes extremely well with other pens in a similar price category (Pilot Custom Heritage 91, Pilot Vanishing Point, Lamy 2000). I had been sitting on purchasing this pen for months, and with the Black Friday deal, it came in at $93.50, shipped. The pen retails for about double that ($176, and is worth THAT price). It's simply the best deal on a fountain pen that I've ever seen. The Medium (M) nib on mine is extremely smooth and the body is solid and comfortable. It can be posted, but I prefer to write without the cap. The rhodium accents on pen are well placed and refined. In a rather large pen rotation, this has already become my first choice. A general review for the Platinum 3776 Century pen. Excellent daily writer. The nib runs finer than European nibs, but that's typically true of most Japanese nibs. The weight is nearly nonexistent. I usually write with the pen unposted, and in that regard the weight was perfect for long writing sessions. I did attempt to post the pen just as a test, but it becomes too top heavy for comfortable writing. Overall, a great value.

November 15, 2014, I received my Platinum Century 3776 Bourgogne fountain pen with a special order Soft-Fine nib. Ron from Pen Chalet went beyond what I expected in filling my order. The "soft-fine" point is especially responsive to my need for writing Gregg shorthand quickly. It was a pleasure working with Pen Chalet.

I picked the Bourgogne with the Music nib and it is awesome! The nib is so wet and smooth it's like gliding across a slip-n-slide on top of a cloud. If you want some serious nibbage, pick this combo.
