Pineider Avatar UR Demonstrator Fountain Pens Reviews
The Peneider Avatar Demonstrator exceeds my expectations. It has become my new favorite pen. The aesthetics are so beautiful. I bought the blue and it looks stunning with the silver trimmings Most of all, the weight and balance are perfect. Uncapped it is light, yet fits perfectly in my hand. My hands are large and I was concerned it might be small, but, not so. The nib, right out of the box was very smooth with a hint of tooth. Everything I want in a fountain pen! I love this pen.

I think this is the best steel nib pen I've ever seen. It's exquisitely designed with beautiful details, and if, in fact, the "Ultra-resin" is as indestructible as DD (Dante Delvecchio, the designer) claims, it's an heirloom-quality pen (if the cap lock magnet doesn't lose it's power).
What's to love? the magnetic cap lock is fun and quick; the spring of the beautiful clip; the attention to detail with the figured center band; the solid posting of the cap, and when posted, the well-balanced writing position. My nib seems to be a #6 EF Jowo, but factory-adjusted to give a hint of very pleasant feedback, and like other Jowo nibs, it's not stiff, but soft on the page. Speaking of soft, another nice touch is the soft rubber grip which is the most pleasant I've felt on a fountain pen.
However, the literature in my pen box said that the pen comes with a "Demi Flex Futuristic" nib. Mine didn't. The nib is not designed to flex (see Pneider illustrations of this nib), and I suspect my friends at Pen Chalet had an early shipment of Avatars that came without the "Demi Flex Future" and that's why I got an eyepopping sale price. Nevertheless, it's well worth the money even at full retail and the equal of far more expensive fountain pens.

This is a gorgeous pen. I purchased the red color. I was pleasantly surprised at not only the beauty of it but also the smoothness of the nib. It is a great value and a pleasure to use.

Amazing pen write out of the box. I always use fountain pen all my life, from school days to board exams, college, university (even on the oil rigs, when I stay sometimes for weeks). I love how they write and how they feel in my hand. I am not a collector, do not possess many pens or ink bottles, I have my fair share, and continue to use and love them. That said, this is my first Italian fine fountain pen, rests all are medium (definition varies, so around 100 CAD) range American or European pens. Off course, I used few chinese and Indian pens also, however this one, the Pineider is the second most valuable possession in my collection. Beautiful fine nib, smooth writing with slightly scratchy (in a good way), tested on good fountain pen paper (52 gsm Tamoe River, 90 gsm Clairefontaine, 120 gsm HP Premium32 paper) as well as normal 70 gsm photocopy paper, great writer. Currently inked with J.H. 1798 Kyanite du Nepal, loving it.

Regarding the clear demonstrator: An exquisitely crafted pen both in terms of form and function. Aesthetically, it makes me think of a pen crafted by elves from Lord of the Rings, for the details are many, but fine and delicate. Writing, out of the box, was a beautiful experience. One of the smoothest F nibs I've ever used.

Oh boy do I ever like this pen. It has rapidly become my go to for everything. Thank you Dante!
Note-medium nib is generous but not overly so. I usually like Japanese fine but this nib is so nice... I’m ok with the wider line.
