Pilot Prera Collection Fountain Pens Reviews
I've spent the past couple weeks enjoying my new Pilot Prera - it's become my daily writer! It writes very smoothly, and I really like the medium nib. The click-on cap fits quite securely, and while the pen is a bit smaller than most of my fountain pens, it feels very comfortable in my hand when posted. Plus, the light weight makes it ideal for longer writing sessions.

This fountain pen comes very close to working on all levels for me. Finding a fountain pen that fits your hand can be a tricky issue. In a lot of cases for me, fountain pens are too long when posted but also too short when not posted. The length of the posted Prera comes very close to finding that sweet spot. It is about a centimeter too short which causes the very bottom the posted cap to rest awkwardly on the side of my first finger base knuckle. Also, as you might expect for a small plastic fountain pen, it is a tad too light in my hand. So, for me and my hand, I don't feel like the control I'd prefer with this pen. I suspect men with fairly small hands or women with average to small hands may that the Prera works well for the. As with all Pilot products I've tried, I have zero complaints regarding build quality versus price.
