Monteverde Invincia Series Fountain Pens Reviews
Indeed I'm kinda newbie in the fountain pen world with aaaalllll the nibs, but there is no way to rate one of the specifications less than excellent - although the delicate finish is vulnarable to finger prints, smudge, dust and (merely!) _probably_ also micro scratches. In return the pen looks even more stunning when holding it in the hand and has a very pleasant weight and grip. Feels absolutely nice and the design: just look at the pictures (it's truly not easy to capture its beauty and the colour performance; there is more to discover than just the blue/pink/purple). Definitive my most precious without being the most expensive pen in my manageable collection. Comes with a well (without any complications) "easy-going" working converter. A pleasure to write with; well balanced ink flow once the converter is slightly feeded :3; no skipping, no blackouts. Hopefully the beauty will last as long as the pen feels sturdy.

This pen is HEAVY! REALLY heavy! But I love it. Very well made. The finish and material is very masculine and industrial looking and feeling. The nib actually sings on paper. Don't believe me... buy one and try it for yourself. It's very satisfying. The section is small, yet comfortable, thanks to the extreme taper. Overall a great pen at a solid price point.

After much debate, I purchased this pen. I previous read reviews about finish and in issues and had a few reservations. When my pen arrived I had a difficult time getting the pen to write smooth and after loading and cleaning the pen, the nib worked without a hiccup. An email to Pen Chalet was returned within hours and they offered to correct the issue. Good news was the pen appears to have gone through the "break in" process and is working fine. Definitely an attention grabber in the office. Large and pronounced nib! No doubt your writing with a fountain pen.

The Stealth Black looks and feels better than I anticipated. It has a nice balanced feel when writing. The medium nib is smooth but seems about the size of a fine nib. I will be getting the broad nib. I am happy with the purchase and great service at Pen Chalet. Ron and Jill are very helpful and friendly. Will be sure to return as needed.

The stub nib worked for a few a bit but then started having issues starting. Then on the cross stroke it wouldn't put anything down. I cleaned the pen, switched inks twice, cleaned the pen some more and nothing seemed to work. Sometimes it wouldn't write at all. I've tried it on several different types of paper from Rhodia to a Mead notebook. Still the same problem on all types of paper. My other Monteverde Prima with a broad nib has never given me any problems at all. Puzzled??

I initially bought this pen because it looked beautiful and I had heard it was exceptionally heavy, which is what I was looking for at the time. When I received the pen, it was as beautiful and heavy as I imagined it would be. The red body with the black section gave a sleek look. After taking a few minutes or hours to admire its looks and heft, I decided it was time to ink it up. And that's where the issues began. It took a while for the ink to reach the nib so I could write, but that's acceptable as it tells you to give the cartridge a little squeeze to get it started. Even after it started though it would not stop skipping. When I went to cross my T's and dot my I's, the crosses and dots would not appear! My upstrokes constantly vanished and random letters were missing random lines. I thought this might have been because I did not flush the pen. So I did. And to no avail. The skipping was still there and it was not an easy starter either. Then I tried blaming the issue on misaligned tines (I really wanted this pen to work). So I looked and the tines did seem a bit misaligned. Using my finger nail, I pushed that left tine up until it was even with the right one and re inked the pen. No better. At this point I threw my hands in the air and gave up. I really wanted this pen to work and for a $60 pen it SHOULD work. Alas, it didn't and it is now tucked away somewhere deep inside my desk clean of ink. I was told to stay away from Monteverde as they have issues all the time and from now on I will heed that warning.

Heard great things about this pen and now I have one. It's a very nice FP to write with, easy to clean. Highly recommended for any FP enthusiast! I also own Japanese, Italian & German pens.
