Monteverde Giant Sequoia Fountain Pens Reviews
This is a great pen that I enjoy writing with. I like a larger-sized pen and this is just that. Great writer and a good-looking series of pens.

This is one of my favorite pen, it is smooth and lays down enough ink but it is not too wet. I like the flex tip to allow for more expressive writing. I had avoided the MonteVerde for a long time (with no good reason) and now I am looking forward to my next MonteVerde purchase.

This is a magnificent pen. I can’t say enough good things about it. It is a beautifully crafted pen. I have three of them in different colors (plan to order more) and it’s impossible to choose which color I like best because they all look so good. Each pen I have has a different sized nib...and each writes wonderfully. But perhaps what I love best about this pen is its size. Oh my gosh...this pen fits my hand perfectly! Writing with this pen is such a pleasure. The quality and craftsmanship of this pen is exemplary...it’s a great value. I highly recommend this pen.

It's big. It's so pretty, but it's BIG. I would buy another for someone with huge hands in a minute. I do have huge hands myself...

I do enjoy using this pen. It is, by far, the largest pen I own, but not the heaviest -- very well balanced, and useable even when posted. Beautiful coloring on the pen barrel & cap. The nib (fine) is smooth and dependable; I've had no problems with hard starts or skipping. If you're looking for a nice, oversized pen that's comfortable to use, this Giant Sequoia is definitely a good value.

Nice pen & colors. Not a super big pen but is a good size. Writes well, looks good, fairly priced.

This is a GREAT pen. It is a large frame pen (which I prefer) and post well as a friction post. The pen has weight but is not "heavy" and the machining is great so the pen has a natural feel in the hand and allows you to control your strokes. The ink flow give you a nice solid line with out it being too wet which you can easily modulate with pressure. The pen can sit for several days without drying out and becoming a hard starter.
I have watched this pen for years and so glad that I now have one in my collection for a great price.

I purchased this in the brown color. Mine didn't have a lot of color variation but it is still beautiful. It is a larger pen but very comfortable to write with. Well balanced. Performs well. I would definitely purchase this pen again.

As the name implies this is a large fountain pen. If your hands are on the large size this pen will feel right at home. When placed side by side with most popular pens, you will notice quickly that it is indeed larger in diameter. The stainless steel nib writes nice and smoothly with good ink flow to the paper. On "cheap" paper there is some feathering and bleed through. On good quality fountain pen friendly papers, this pen will yield a nice writing experience.
My copy is used with the converter so I can use the pen with a whole host of inks instead of the few choices provided by ink cartridges. The additional cost of the converter is will worth it.
