The size of the pen is comfrotable in my medium to large hand size. It is a little chubby pen, which I like. I ordered it with a stub nib, and the nib skipped, it was scratchy and had a difficult to find sweet spot. I have to send to the nib to have it fixed and fitted to my handwriting. I will never buy a Maiora pen again, it is too expensive for what it gives, but its beautiful and the pen is well built. But if a pen does not write properly, it is not useful.

Posillipo is a beautiful combination of color. Happy and cheerful to look at. The pen is comfortably oversized...but certainly not too big. Do not let that deter you. It is a pen that is bit thicker in hand, but very comfortable. I have a fine nib and it is rather pleasant and smooth to write with with a very small amount of feedback just perfect for me. Well made pen with a substantial feel and construction quality! I am very happy to have found this pen on sale at Pen Chalet at a exceptionally affordable price!

This is a real beauty of a pen. The color pops. Craftsmanship is on par with higher priced pens. It's a larger sized pen which works well for me.

My arthritic hands LOVED this pen. It's huge, yet lightweight and gorgeous to boot. The Ex-Fine nib was smooth right out of the box. My first pen from this line, I'm impressed, and like as not will buy another. Looks and writes like a much more expensive pen.

My take on the Maiora Impronte Oversize
The Good: looks good, and feels good. The grip fits perfectly with the way I hold a pen. When it does write, it’s a very enjoyable experience. I like the line. The nib has some character. It would be a perfect pen it it wasn’t for -
The Bad: the nib needed a lot of work. The tines were very tight. The tip (extra fine) was scratchy to an extreme. (out of a collection of ninety plus, mostly fine and extra fine) But those two faults responded to tweaking. The incurable fault is the hard starting. No matter what I do, it must be primed after sitting overnight, or even hours.
The Ugly: grotesquely overpriced. One can swap the nib unit; but at this price, why?
I’m disregarding the price and giving this pen four stars. After tweaking and after priming, it IS an enjoyable pen.
Buyer beware.

I received my Maiora Impronte back in February of 2020. I was highly anticipating this pen and took a quick look at it without taking out of the box and put it away to pull out on my next pen ink rotation. Move fast forward to July and I take the pen out to ink up when I notice a line what looked to me as a hair on the cap and to my surprise the cap was cracked. I reached out to Pen Chalet customer support explaining the situation and that I was willing to pay for a new cap since this was my fault clearly for not looking at the pen much more closely when it first arrive. Pen Chalet support was fast and they understood the issue. Till this day I have no new cap and due to Covid pandemic I realize this will take some time no fault of Pen Chalet whatsoever. I have used this pen faithfully and has become one of my all time favorites thus far. I am hoping that I will be able to get a new cap before this pen is discontinued.

? Not many words needed. I love this pen.
It looks as beautiful as it writes.
I purchased the EF nib hoping it would indeed be a little finer than a F nib and it is.
So, I have a beautiful, perfect (oversize) piece that writes with an elegant flare.
Very happy to add this to my collection.
