Leonardo Officina Italiana Momento Zero Fountain Pens Reviews

I ordered this Leonardo in Blue Hawaii first in a stub nib. Unfortunately, that nib and I did not get along at all. I think that it had some operation at the point. At any rate, Pen Chalet was great about exchanging the pen for me. They sent me a new one, in fine per my request, and a return label to send the old one back. I am so glad I exchanged instead of refunding because my fine nibbed Leonardo is probably my favorite pen. My husband often reaches into my pen case to steal it too. The nib is buttery smooth and an absolute dream to write with. It writes better than some of my gold nabbed pens which is saying something since this is a steel nib. I am interested in trying a Leonardo gold nib at some point after using this pen. You will not regret owning this writing utensil. In addition to being a fantastic writing experience, the resin in second to none for quality and beauty. Really can't say enough about Leonardo pens. I recommend them to all my pen friends! Also, Pen Chalet is a great company with wonderful customer service.

The Leonardo Momento Zero fountain pen is fabulous. I selected the Blue Hawaii color with the gold trim and I am delighted! The pen (F nib) writes smoothly and even though I filled the converter with a shimmer ink, there are no 'hard starts' and no clogging! The service from Pen Chalet was excellent as always!

This Blue Hawaii is an absolutely beautiful fountain pen and it is a very smooth writer. Mine has a medium nib. This is my first Leonardo fountain pen and I am sure that I will be purchasing more.

I was hesitant to but this pen, it is pricey for a steel nib.

But I do not regret it. It writes so smooth, even better than some gold nibs. And the body of the pen is so beautiful. It is a little odd that you can't remove the converter, but I can deal. I am so ready for another MZ!

This review is for my Sorrento Blue Momento Zero. It writes very nicely, and the resin is beautiful. This is my third Leonardo pen, and I would buy again if I needed one either for myself or as a present for somoeone else.

I have been eyeing this pen for a long time, and it was a pleasant surprise to fins it on sale for such a great price. Thank you Pen Chalet! I have only just received the Pen, but it is just as beautiful in person, and I have noticed many high quality features such as smoothly unobtrusive threads and a custom converter inside. The resin is gorgeous of course.

This beautiful pen arrived so quickly, and I immediately used it to write a friend. I found it very comfortable in my hand, smooth nib. Beautifully crafted. Look forward to lots of writing adventures with this piece of art work.

My Momento Zero Blue Sorrento with gold trim and medium nib is just as nice as all my other Leonardo pens. It has good consistent flow and the nib is smooth and well aligned, although this medium writes more like a fine. The material is interesting, being dark to medium shades of blue with areas of purple with chunks of silvery lilac. From a distance it's rather discrete while up close in the right light it's a seductive blend. Leonardo can really pull off colors that have a bit of flash without appearing gaudy like so many others. This is highly recommended by me.

Amazing resin, gorgeous design, but BABY'S BOTTOM on my broad nib. Sigh. Nothing's perfect.
