This is a beautiful pen in many aspects. It is a lovely shade of blue, that looks like it has swirls of a melted marshmallow in it. The minimal gold accents are a nice touch. I have a broad nib which is more like a Medium/Broad. It writes very smoothly on really nice paper, equally well on printer paper, and on cheap notebooks. I love it! and my credit card is itching for the Prugna or Alga next. I would love a trip to Italy to buy one in person!

This is a beautiful pen. The fine point writes very smoothly, the cap posts easily, and feels fine in the hand. My first Italiano pen - Pen Chalet offered good service - I'm very pleased overall.

Pen is good looking. Writes smooth but for medium nib , releases too much ink with thick lines. The medium writes more thick than what I expected. For the price , steel bib can be made of golden yellow color but the silver color for nib spoils the appearance of this elegant pen.
