Leonardo Officina Italiana Exclusive Momento Zero Fountain Pens Reviews
Like all of my Leonardo pens this one is no exception and is lovely. Once again the picture doesn't do it justice, as it is much more impressive in person. The rosewood ebonite and black acrylic are polished to perfection, and the ruthenium trim really accentuates the other materials. The medium steel nib, my favorite, has good flow and always starts up and writes smoothly. This collaboration between Leonardo and Pen Chalet has created a fantastic variant to the Momento Zero line, and I wish I had gotten one sooner. Highly recommended by me.

I bought two of the Momento Zero's in a medium nib. The appearance of the pens were above average and very pleasing visually. The feel in hand is as nice as any pen I own. The quality of the fit and finish is very good. One of the pen caps is rather finicky and doesn't want to thread easily all the time but I can live with that. The ink converter is pretty cool with it's set up and fill choices. The medium nibs were more broad like then medium from what I was used to. I did have a hard starting and skipping issue with one of the nibs and Pen Chalet did help me correct that and I went with a fine nib. The fine nib in the pen changed my writing experience completely. That pen now meets every expectation I had and hoped for. It is now one of my most favorite pens to write with. Perfect feel and fit in my hand... the grip section is extremely comfortable. The nib is smooth with just a hint of feedback! This Italian made pen is a high performance writing instrument once you find that perfect combination of pen and nib!! I like the Pen... I like the way it Writes...I like the way it Looks... I Like IT!! :)

I purchased the dark red Exclusive Momento and it's beautiful! I wish it were slightly lighter in color as I already have beautiful black Sailors and this is close in depth. It pairs beautifully with Diamine's Red Dragon and writes like a dream because Leonardo tunes the nibs before they ship. Can't wait for the next Exclusive Moment Zero.

I have 'Rosewood Ebonite' version with medium nib. It is truly beautiful fountain pen. Quality - highest level. So, how it works now - It is very good writer, pretty wet and very smooth.

Stunningly gorgeous. I normally stick to classic black with gold trim, but found this on sale and took the chance. The pen's body (I went with the orange version)is unbelievably pleasing to the eye. In good light, there's depth and texture that doesn't show up in online pictures. The one drawback is, having gone with a stub nib, sometimes the feed has a difficult time keeping up with flow. But, am expecting that to go away with use. The same problem may not be a concern with fine or medium nibs. Regardless, even if I have to get it professionally adjusted, it will still be worth it. One of the most aesthetically pleasing pens I've ever owned.

The pen is striking to look at and well constructed. The moderate price is surprising because it looks more expensive that what it cost.

Great pen. Narrow nib very smooth with excellent ink flow. Using short J. Herbin international cartridge. Doesn't accomodate Pelikan Edelstein long cartridge.

Beautiful pen that writes wonderfully. I have the Orange/Matte Black version, and it is stunning. The resin is deep and rich in appearance. One thing that isn't mentioned in the video review is that the pen is a captured converter. To fill, unscrew the cap on the end of the barrel to expose the twist knob. No need to unscrew the section to expose the converter (unless you prefer to fill the converter with a syringe). The nib is incredibly smooth, and once you do an initial flush/cleaning it writes without skips or misses. I regularly get compliments on the pen, and ended up getting a second as it is a bargain at the Pen Chalet prices. It's hard to find a captured converter pen in this price range. I can't wait for other offerings from Leonardo.
