I ordered all three Candy pens, Mango in Extra Fine, Violet in Fine, and Aquamarine in Medium. They are typical Safari pens and are well made and perform as expected. The matte colors with matching clip are why I bought them, and they all write nicely. I simply used one Lamy blue cartridge to swap between them for testing, and they were writing almost instantly on installing. I prefer the Fine nib for my writing style, but I've had all the Lamy nib sizes since I bought my first fountain pen. a yellow Safari. I recommend them if your hold can accept the triangular grip section.

I like my Lamys but do yourself a favor and swap the nib with a black polished. They write much smoother.

I LOVE this pen! Very smooth, the nib writes great.,although fine tip it initially sounds a tiny bit scratchy. When the ink flows it’s like “butter” smooth sailing. I highly recommend this pen.

I do not normally buy the special editions in the Safari just the AL star ones. And I really wanted to like this one. I like the black nib but overall I could have done without it. It doesn't feel different enough to be a special edition. It writes as good as would be expected.

I was happy to see that the All Black is a shade darker than the Charcoal from a few years ago. Like all Safaris it writes beautifully and fits nicely in my hand. To really mix things up, I inked it up with 2018 Vibrant Pink. It's a shocker every time I put the nib to paper!

I was torn about whether to buy this pen, being so close in color to the Charcoal version. After holding it in my hand, I'm glad I bought one. There's a certain elegance to it and I feel like Batman whenever I use it. It's black. It's not flashy or "neon" like other special editions. I'm glad it's in my collection.
